How much is shipping?

The shipping cost is based on weight and region. To calculate the shipping cost for your order, please add the item(s) into your cart and proceed to checkout.

Magazines are shipped from Germany and will usually be dispatched within 3 working days. You will receive an email once your order has been sent.

How long will my magazines take to arrive?

Magazines are shipped a couple of times a week and you will be sent a shipping notification email to let you know that your order is complete.

From the shipping date in this email, your magazines will take a couple of weeks or more to reach you depending on your location.

Orders are shipped from a fulfillment warehouse in Germany so all orders except for German orders are sent via international post.

Please allow a couple of weeks for orders to reach the UK and other European countries (although it can be quicker than this), 2-3 weeks to reach the US, and 3-4 weeks to reach Australia and New Zealand. These times are only estimates and have been quicker than this on many occasions, or can sometimes take slightly longer.

Thanks for your patience as your magazines travel in the post to reach you.

Why do orders ship from Germany if Rebecca lives in the UK?

I decided to move the shipping of magazines over to a fulfillment company just before the release of the third volume of Plants Are Magic. The most suitable company that I could find was based in Germany. This company specifically works with independent publishers like me. They understand the needs of a small publishers and have enabled the magazine to continue.

Orders are now shipped from Germany. This means that all orders are now sent via international post (except for orders sent to German addresses, of course). As a result, shipping to the UK takes a little longer than it used to when I was sending the magazines myself.

Which plants do you dye with in your botanical dyeing book?

I dye with a wide range of plants including avocado skins and stones, pomegranate skins, nettles, alder cones, gorse, tea, culinary herbs (like thyme and rosemary), lavender, eucalyptus.... the list goes on. These are the plants that are at my fingertips, but the purpose of the book is to show you how to dye with any kind of plants. You can use my methods and learn to use the plants that you have available to you and create your own local palette of colours. Do not feel limited by the plants that I show in my book or even on my Instagram, as you can dye with a much wider range of plants than this. You may live in a different climate and have completely different plants available to you. You can apply my methods to any plants.

Note: my book will not show you how to dye with indigo or woad which require a different dyeing technique.

Do you run any workshops or courses?

No, I don't currently offer any workshops. I have two young children and have decided to concentrate on being at home with them and spending my spare moments writing and publishing Plants Are Magic magazine. Working online is the best use of my time right now, but I know that life will evolve as my children grow up and I hope to offer workshops at some point in the future.

Can I stock your book or magazine in my shop?

Yes, my book and magazine are available to purchase at wholesale prices and are stocked in a select number of independent shops around the world. Please get in touch via my contact form to request my current wholesale prices. I'd be delighted to chat with you further!
