Botanical Colour at your Fingertips (2016)
The following revisions apply to early print runs of the 1st and 2nd Editions, as well as versions of the PDF eBook downloaded before December 2018.
(p = page)
- On p18 of the 1st Edition, p22 of the 2nd Edition & p10 of the eBook — there is a misspelling of the word Katazome.
- On p84 of the 1st Edition, p102 of the 2nd Edition & p43 of the eBook — soda ash is also known as sodium carbonate.
- Some printed versions of the 2nd Edition sold via Amazon have a missing line of text at the bottom of p92. The full paragraph is: “If we are dyeing fabric or yarn for ourselves then colour fastness may not be such a concern. It can be exciting to explore the colours of potentially less permanent dyes and we can simply over dye with new plants if the colours fade. By embracing the transient nature of colours, we may discover something exciting in the process.”
- On p43 of the 1st Edition, p53 of the 2nd Edition & p22 of the eBook — the step-by-step instructions for making raw soya milk are for craft/dyeing purposes only, as is everything in the book. To make soya milk for drinking, you need to follow particular processes (such as heating in a certain way), which is not covered in the book.
